4 Areas of Life to Audit for Greater Leadership & Better Body Image

I was on a walk recently and this reminder was SUPER present in my heart to share with you. I pulled off the sidewalk and wrote it out!

You are enough.

Scratch that- you're MORE than enough. You're the whole freakin' enchilada!!!

Diet culture will gaslight you into believing that you're not doing it right- that you need to try harder.

More willpower. A different plan. More information. A different body.

Basically that you're NOT ENOUGH.

I'm here to remind you how brilliant you are!! That you are the authority and ringleader of your own body. Period- end of story.

If you find yourself caught up in the searching, comparing, and looking to others for permission or the "right" way for your body to be, take a DEEP compassionate belly breath.

None of this uncertainty is your fault.

Now here comes the tough love...ready??

You are a leader. And it's your responsibility to nurture your authentic leadership now more than ever before.

Why now? Because the future IS now.

We can only be certain of the moment in time that we're living. So let's live the hell out of it!! Yes?? YES.

The most powerful way you can express your leadership more prolifically is through decision. Here are 4 examples of where you are already flexing your decision muscle:

  1. Who you're following on social media.

  2. Whom you're seeking advice from.

  3. The books, TV shows, "plans", podcasts, or opinions you're choosing to surround yourself around.

  4. The beliefs you are choosing to hold about your body- yourself.

These decisions all have a direct impact on the person you are being and becoming.

Do each of these areas of your life ENHANCE your truth? Or are they sneakily distracting from it?

I want to invite you to think of this exercise as a mini "life audit".

If anything is making you feel not enough, throwing you into comparison, self-doubt, or hustling for your worth, it's time to say goodbye.

When I do my own "life audits" (and I do them often!), I like to think of this as lovingly closing chapters.

These are parts that have held my attention and brought me to who I am today. But ultimately holding me back from the next-level leader that I am BECOMING.

A final note before I pop off- if emotions come up during this evaluation LET THEM. Suppressing leads to explosion or implosion- we all know what this feels like right?

Alright- onward! Go out and lead with YOUR truth.

P.S. If you're ready for support around elevating your authentic leadership & feeling comfortable in your skin, book a breakthrough call with me to talk about how we can make that happen through 1:1 coaching.
